Une nouvelle élève d'une académie de football est déterminée à battre l'équipe de son rival dans le tournoi national. Alors qu’elle prévoyait de passer un semestre en mer à étudier les courants marins à bord d’un navire high-tech, une adolescente se voit embarquée par erreur vers une académie de foot australienne. Plus habituée aux manuels de Physique-Chimie qu’au ballon rond, la petite prodige universitaire « naufragée » va devoir s’adapter pour s’intégrer dans cet univers peu familier et faire face à la concurrence de ses coéquipières pas toujours bien intentionnée.+
